MSGIA has partnered with School Bus Safety Company to provide Bus Driver Safety Training Courses online for our School Leader Self Insurance Program. We have searched for training that not only provides good training in recognition of hazards but emphasized the root cause of 90% of all accidents and that is unsafe behaviors. The training programs have been built by people who have spent their careers in the Pupil Transportation industry. The 15 course "Driver Training Course" has been recommended by NAPT (National Association for Pupil Transportation).
OPI has approved the content for satisfying the OPI bus driver safety training requirements. Each course has an individual value for credit towards the required training. At the end of each course the learner will be prompted to provide their name, then a printable certificate of completion will be generated with the number of hours the course is worth on it.
